I'm watching the video of Jake Tapper and others present this information, and they do it in an incredibly careful way. They make it clear that the FBI and intelligence officials are still vetting the claims but they told Trump because the information was circulating among intelligence agencies and high level government officials/politicians.

Yet another example of people trashing CNN without merit.

I think this scandal will blow over but the hard part is that with the mass spread of (mis)-information on Trump even the true stories will probably be disregarded.

Kinda funny this is also Putin's modus operandi for dealing with the media.
