Which states in the 2020 election were a coin toss?
Georgia, Wisconsin, Arizona, Pennsylvania and North Carolina were won by either candidate by a margin that was less than 1.5 %.
With the numbers being that close, it is nothing else but luck whether the final result in a state is 50.2-49.8 or 49.6-50.4.
If we swapped <50.000 Biden votes for Trump votes in these states, then it would have been a landslide victory for Trump in the electoral college.
(And if we swapped <1.000 Bush votes for Gore votes in the 2000 election, than Gore would have won, so both sides can benefit from this)
I personally believe this system is flawed, but that's a different topic.
