Taking credit for something that he had literally no effect on.

This man is a lunatic and should be immediately impeached and institutionalized. People who voted for him should be fucking mortified.

you mean he does the same as obama, who always took credit for a recovering economy and job market - without acknowledging that this success was paid for by $10,000,000,000,000 in new debt over the eight years of his presidency?

well, its a fact that the growth seen under obama was very unimpressive considering the amount of money spent by the government (for whatever reason) during his tenure.
so if trump takes credit for some sort of growth that isnt a result of his good policies, that doesnt make him any more of a bad or doubtful source than obama was. if you accuse trump of spreading "fake news" for things like that, you would also have to have accused obama for fake news all the time. but none of you did.

and do you really want to tell us that the difference between 51% and 59% constitutes the difference between "mostly true" and "mostly false"?
an unemployment rate of over 50% is fucking huge in any case. at this level, 8% more or less makes no difference for the political issue at hand.

again: do you really think that the political issue which a high youth/minority unemployment rate represents gets any worse if the rate is 59% instead of 51%?

Depends on the context. They may well not be talking about the same population, even if from that one sentence it sounds like it. I'm just playing devil's advocate though, but it shouldn't be hard to just find a bit more context.
