What actually happened (for those who are a bit slow)

Tucker gets documents
Tucker and Fox team comb through documents
Tucker and Fox team realize they have nothing on Biden from the documents
Tucker "lost the documents"

I'm not surprised in the least Goom is still trying to make this stick, but come on everyone else. It's just pathetic at this point.

What's even more weird to me is that in his own statement on his show he talks about how they worked with the mail carrier company they used to try and locate the documents by "sending them a photo of the documents so they knew what we sent and what to look for".

So they took photos of the documents, but like...from afar? Why would you take a photo of the documents you're going to send that amounts to a simple stack of papers (or whatever the photo was actually of) instead of making copies of the documents/taking photos of them? They then sent the original documents without making a facsimile?

wut

I don't recall Tucker saying he lost the "only" copy of the documents

Upon second review, nope, he never says it was the "only" copy

How is this news and how are you all so stupid

He claims that {UPS / FedEx, whichever} told him that they lost the documents, and began a search, notified supervisors, interviewed employees, searched vehicles, etc
If he was making that shit up completely, they'd contradict him, no? Seems like an easily disprovable claim
Could be explained by something as mundane as using weak adhesive to seal an envelope and having it spill open when upside-down, and I'd struggle to imagine a scenario where their source can't just, ya know, print new copies of documents

if there were indeed documents to begin with, they probably already received a second copy by the time this had aired lol

doesn't negate the story that the first package was seemingly intercepted

having said that. probably qanon sent it to them and they have to comb through 1000 dick pics to see some pixels :)

I've had a few packages similarly 'intercepted' over the years, the spooks must be onto me

He said the mail carrier told him that their package had been opened, not that it was simply "lost" or "accidentally spilled out". They said a worker noticed that their package had been opened during transit/movement and reported it.

That said, what do you make of Carlson saying that they "sent photos of the documents" to the mail carrier so that they "knew what we sent and what to look for"?

"had been opened" could be the same thing as an envelope not being properly sealed in the first place. How would they know the difference?
and he said "they used pictures of what we had sent". FedEx and UPS take pictures of all packages they're shipping, that's routine and automated
