Something something saying the same thing over again doesn't make it true something something.

It proves that she knew inside of 24 hours what was going on. Sending someone out with "initial intelligence" saying something entirely different 120 hours later is not borne of a "changing intelligence estimate," it a lie. If I didn't know the contents of the email, how in the actual fuck do you think I used the exact same term directly used in that email (al-quada-like group)? But allow me:

I have to repeat the earlier point because you followed the dead-ender playbook exactly where I said it always ends up leading, even after I said that.

I ask if you know what the email says because that obviously does not support what you're alleging; just pointing to that email and its mere existence over and over again does not support what you're alleging. We already know that their initial intelligence assessment was wrong and it caused them to spend days making sure they had an assessment they were comfortable with re: veracity, so it too wouldn't end up being wrong like the initial one was.

Not a dead end. Thanks for playing.

That email illustrates exactly what I am alleging. Left is left, right is right. Up is not down. Blue is not red. Facts matter. You just look like a fool denying them.

Yes, it is a dead-end. Exactly as I said at the outset, people always get to this precise point when they indulge this conspiracy theory: the dead-enders point to this email and say "see, this proves everything" even though it, in reality, proves absolutely nothing that they're alleging: It doesn't cut against what we know happened re: the process of the intelligence assessment changing and becoming more accurate over time. This only VALIDATES what we know, it doesn't undermine it at all. If it did there would be more to support your claim; you don't have more. You have nothing.

It's just a non-sequitur that the CTs use because they haven't been able to provide anything else to support their claims. They're stuck on repeat, regurgitating 2013's talking points in hopes that onlookers are uninformed enough or just plain dumb enough to get confused by them. That's obviously not going to happen to someone like me, sorry.

Never going to happen. Not going to get his taxes, a full medical report, his bundler info. He's by far and away the least transparent nominee in modern history, and everybody knows why.

You're mischaracterizing the sum total of the intelligence gathered, then presented, in those reports, and the value of said intelligence on the basis of where it happened to come from.

Again, you don't get to choose which intelligence is valid. We can debate about the effectiveness of our intelligence-acquiring capabilities but you don't get to pick and choose which pieces of intelligence exist (and don't exist) based on whichever fringe narrative you're trying to advance. The fact that the attack was not motivated by the video, like peaceful demonstrations in other countries were, was obviously one of the reasons that the intelligence estimate changed and became more accurate, as we know it did. Just because they were able to eventually determine later on the correct cause of the attack does not mean that their initial incorrect assessment was made to deceive. Making that claim is disingenuous, and the conspiracy theorists have never been able to offer a shred of proof for it; only more CTs and non-sequiturs.

Why won't Trump release his tax returns? I assume it's either because he doesn't want people to know he is skilled at tax avoidance or his networth isn't as high as he states, but I have no clue which.

I can't honestly tell you definitively if there is one specific reason beyond "there are things in them that will disqualify him among voters."

He didn't pay any taxes in the four years we know about; I'm sure there are other years like that.
He made at least one illegal political donation (the Bondi donation that he tried to cover up), there could be more.
He made a massive payment to the Federal Trade Commission over charges he violated anti-trust laws.
He owes millions to the Bank of China and Goldman Sachs, I'm sure he doesn't want people to know how indebted he is to them.
He's deeply connected to people like Felix Sater, who only further Trump's ties to the New York construction mafia.
Sater also tried to further Trump's ties to Russian businesses.
All the casino bankruptcies.
He's employed thousands of foreign guest workers, including the hiring of hundreds of illegal undocumented Polish workers in the 1980s to build Trump Tower.
All the fraud charges related to "The Trump Institute" (his scam venture that predated Trump University).

I imagine information on all of these things (and more) could be gleaned from his tax returns, which is why he's given 10 separate reasons for why he refuses to release even one year of them.

And what you said at the outset is simply not true.

Why do you think the simple fact that Clinton sent that email overrides what we know to be true: that the intelligence estimate changed (and became more accurate) over time?

Because you're ignoring the STARTING point. The intelligence estimate did NOT reliably intimate that the video had a whit to do with it.
