People who expect to be treated as special snowflakes are unpleasant people to the point of being nearly unbearable to be around. They're also untrustworthy in the extreme when it comes to getting a real opinion, as they're so concerned about feeling they'll lie rather than tell the truth just to be PC.

I find the most pleasant people are those who tell you, "You look like you've been on a 6 week drinking binge, been shit on by a diuretic elephant, and smell funny, too!" Why? I can actually trust that they're telling me the truth as they see it. And I'm always equally free to tell them to fuck off, because they can take an opinion just as well as they give it.

You should try it sometime. It's called being "honest", "forthright", and "real". Damned near a lost art these days.

Well, you seem to be speaking generally, and pointing out the apparent flaws of people(most definitely people who aren't friends) is usually rude and unnecessary. There's being honest about a friend's problem to their face and there's rudely calling out someone's flaws in a way that shames them in bad taste.

If you're morbidly obese, smell like thirteen animals just crawled into your clothes and died, take up 3 seats in an airplane, and are chugging a 128 ounce soda, it is absolutely necessary for me to point out what a filthy fucking smelly ass slob you are. Further, it's an employer's right not to hire and inflict you upon other employees, it's an airline's right to charge you for the three seats you occupy, and it's a movie theater's right to refuse you entrance, because you smell like a walking slaughterhouse.

Did you forget the nature of this topic, exactly? The standard, "Oh, you're 1-50 pounds overweight" bit is idiotic, and nobody cares. If you're truly some fat fucking oompa loompa who infringes upon other people with your slovenly, sluggish, filthy fucking ways, you deserve to be shunned.

I fully support employers right to discriminate for pretty much any reason. I'm also in favor of decency. You can pretend the people incredibly overweight are just bad people, but they have serious psychological and addiction issues, similar to drug addicts. Whether or not shaming them makes you feel better about yourself, it doesn't help addicts.
