yet the consideration for time/place/history to establish an appropriate context within which to properly interpret verses that you ask of me is not a consideration that you afford other religions and we end up getting retarded threads like this

Nobody thinks the bible is perfectly interpreted. There are still loads of disagreements.
My point is that the majority of what is brought up in an attempt to deface Christianity (like the verses previously posted) aren't ambiguous at all if the person has read the whole chapter. It doesn't take a scholar...
