I'll never understand the logic from idiots like Senator Hawley.
So Strzok hated Trump so much that he(by himself) launched an investigation into campaign officials, as an insurance policy if Trump ever got elected. Of course to believe this you have to accept the Papadopoulos conspiracy theories asserting that multiple governments and intelligence agencies coordinated to set up some coffee boy.
But what's the insurance policy? If the investigation doesn't find any criminal wrongdoing related to conspiracy(which it didn't), then the FBI and DOJ closes the investigation(which they did). Where is the overthrow/coup?
I don't get it.

I wish Democratic senators would bring in outside counsel to question Barr. How did these people graduate from law school?
I dont see why they need to be so conspiratorial. It would be much more convincing if they just took it all through the skeptical lens of bad faith actors trying to twist the edge rather than engage in some ambitious flagrant conspiracy. Strzok/Page were probably just referring to the Trump investigation as an 'insurance plan' in a snide and humorous way, an in-joke and bit of TDS hopefulness. It still demostrates unacceptable bias and casts a shadow over their actions, but it doesnt need to be a grand plan
