lol why you're linking me with darkhead? Go try a multi accusation and see if that works for you.

Actually, I seem to know more than you because I can tell you that communist Poland was a result of the second world war. Nazi Germany planned to exterminate the Russian untermensch remember? And they came close to victory which is why the Soviets did everything they could to create a buffer between them and the West.

FFS dude, educate yourself before posting nonsense here. And if you want to blame someone, blame the bloody Germans who tore up a non-aggression pact they had with the Soviets in 1941 and invaded with a 4 million strong army.

Yes I know well that west sold us to russia but this doesnt change a fact that we lived under Russia siege, you said nothing new, and U nn to teach me about a history of my country.

Your problem is that you are a pure theorist and nothing more.

Bloody Germans? Then bloody Brits, French, Russian. all of them can look like traitors.

But that was a past, I have many Ger friends and nothing against them. We can live in peace as you see. But Russia is still dark cloud, dont be blind.

Putin’s invasion of Ukraine is an assault on a sovereign nation and will have devastating consequences for Ukrainian citizens. This senseless, unprovoked attack undermines democracy worldwide and we must hold Russia accountable. And we pray for the Ukrainian people and for peace.

Still a few normie Republicans left.

They got faster sure but that doesn't really change the fact that if you're able to strike and neutralize your enemy within a few minutes, it could be the difference between only 1 or 35 of their nukes being launched and reaching a target

russia isn't liechtenstein. there is no possible way to first-strike their entire nuclear arsenal.

that's what he said, and he isn't wrong. get all the proximity you want, it wont change that fact.

gl neutralizing the russian nuclear arsenal tho!

Wouldn't it be better if both sides respected each others security concerns? It's a necessary step if you want to enjoy not only security but being able to trade with each other and have all other normal interactions economically and politically.

The West's stance that Russia is bad cuz they're not like us hasn't brought us any good or has it? Feel free to explain.

Talked about this but this is what a real impact move would be from the west. Problem is you would never get the Euros on board considering Europe is so dependent on Russian energy.

Boris Johnson, UK prime minister, is pushing “very hard” for Russia to be ejected from the Swift international payments system, a move that would deliver a heavy blow to the country’s banks and its ability to trade beyond its borders.

However, Olaf Scholz, German chancellor, warned Johnson on Thursday that his country would not support such a dramatic move and neither would the EU, according to officials close to sanctions negotiations. A German official declined to comment, saying only that “all options are still on the table”.

Johnson has faced criticism in the UK for deploying what critics described as “peashooter” sanctions in response to the first stage of Russian aggression in Ukraine; he is now trying to push western colleagues to deploy very tough reprisals.

“The PM is very keen on this — he’s pushing it very hard,” said one British official, referring to his efforts to eject Russia from Swift. Johnson also raised the idea at a meeting with City of London executives on Wednesday.

But Downing Street conceded that any move regarding Swift could only be done with international agreement, a position shared by the Biden administration. “We have to do it together,” the British official said.

Johnson was expected to push for international support for Russia to be cut out of the Swift system in a call with G7 leaders later on Thursday.

The US has so far suggested that it was too early to consider the move, while saying that no option was off the table.

The only purpose of intermediate range missiles stationed at the border is to be first-strike weapons to disable those ICBMs before they launch. Precisely because they aren't hidden in the oceans or silos everywhere, and their only possible use is to be launched before the other side launches, in order to take out as many of those silos as they can. The reason for the cuban missile crisis was that first strike weapons violate the principles of mutually assured destruction, they require a preemptive attack. An existential threat that would plunge us into nuclear holocaust. When one side starts lining up intermediate range missiles on a border, that MAD deterrent is removed and a necessity to strike first is created.

Even with modern technology and submarine launches, enough intermediate missiles being staged would wipe out enough silos before a response could be ordered, that one side could take "minimal" damage in return while obliterating the other. That's why we had treaties to not only prevent the staging of such missiles but even their development. And the Russians started violating those treaties and making intermediate missiles again, to compete with the Chinese who were making those missiles while not subject to the treaty, while the US also developed them too and R&D portion of the treaty was basically annulled. But nobody was actually staging them on borders yet, that would be insane after the Cuban missile crisis.

I agree with most everything here, except that the US did start putting missiles on Russian borders like 20 years ago. The US claimed they were to deal with terrorists, but Russia didn't believe them and I can't blame Russia on that. Russia had no teeth to do anything about it though. Which sparked Russian outcry and announcement of development of new weapons to attempt to deal with those missiles. And so enters hypersonic weapons which were revealed recently as ready for use. Now that Russia has the teeth to draw a red line they've done so. Noone cared so RIP Ukraine.

lol dude Russia has never shown interest in taking NATO territory.

You don't even understand what the problem is all about. Why don't you stop listening to the propaganda fed to you by Western MSM, broaden your view a bit and come back here if you see the bigger picture.

You'll be surprised that Russians are like us and want a security arrangement just like us. Remember Cuba crisis 1969?

Please remind me how many times neighbouring countries have threatened Russia past decades? How many times it was the opposite way?

The truth is that in order to keep russians away from Ukraine, they had to join the NATO. Ukraine would have never been given a chance to be a buffer-like country like Finland just because Ukraine is seen as an integral part of a russian state.

It's not about keeping russian people safe. It's not about defassification or whatever stupid excuse these mongloids will come up with. It is just what it is - a show of force.

So many times you are pointing out a lack of education but if I'd like to correct your post about Poland and GDR being a buffer zone and provide you a context I'd have to write a book and do what your education system has not done past years so I'll pass.

I'm astonished that my Trumpist Congresscritter actually put this out on FB (he's been very party-line, and was among those that voted against certifying the vote on Jan 6):

Putin’s unprovoked invasion of Ukraine is unacceptable. The United States must stand strong with the Ukrainian people and our allies against this aggression, and Putin’s actions must have severe consequences. I am praying for the Ukrainian people during their fight for freedom.

What about Katyn's slaughtery? Stalin had an idea to exterminate polish intelligence, and was close. Bloody mofo.

So now we havent problems with West, still have with Russia, and others old post soviet republic including Ukraine too.

For a grandmaster, he's incapable of seeing more than one move ahead or identifying which pieces are under attack
Yeah we'll just undo 30 years of geopolitics overnight and replace Russian oil gas and wheat by using magical fairy dust to summon enough LNG terminals and boats and isolate Russia on a world stage while they expand their sphere of influence in actions nobody in the world lifts a finger to oppose, and of course repeal the first amendment for good measure. He's got a board of 3 pawns against someone whos kept ever piece and promoted to queen three times and he thinks its time to go on the offensive.

your utterly inept and clueless chess analogies aside, he was right, you were wrong, putin boot licker. how does that make you feel? oh wait, i can see it in your post. also, way to overrate putin's hand once again.

one would think that someone who was so ridiculously off with their hyperboles regarding trudeau, would give future predictions some thought - but like the unreflected hack that you are, you just keep trucking, huh?
