And it's looking like +1 for Republicans in the Senate assuming Sinema wins (which it looks like she will).

Assuming Scott wins Florida, which he is far more likely to do than not at the moment, then it'll be R+2 even if Sinema's current lead holds.

Oh was it 51-49 before the election? For some reason I thought Republicans had 52.

House of Reps have been GOP playground for all modern politics except during the Obama wave where they made too many efforts to reach out to the GOP. The Democrats learned not to try to compromise with them anymore because they act in bad faith.

So it looks like Sinema is now on pace to beat McSally in Arizona. That obviously wouldn't affect control of the Senate this time around, but could make it easier for Democrats to take the chamber in upcoming elections. A 54-46 deficit with Doug Jones up for re-election in 2020 spelled doom for Democrats' Senate hopes for not only this Congress but the next. 53-47 is a lot more manageable. Democrats will likely focus their efforts on flipping Senate seats in Colorado and North Carolina.

Vermin Supreme is amazing, don't you ever conclude otherwise.

I voted for him in 2012.

McSally was ahead of Sinema up until late Wednesday night. Looks like some more of those "lost ballots". Like the ones they found in Wisconsin, Georgia and Florida.

Florida is known for helping Bush beat Gore in a president race

Scott or DeSantis might end up losing

I watched the entire vote count as it happened. The Reps were ahead the whole way. Wednesday night, a day after the vote, the Dems suddenly crept ahead.

Same story in Wisconsin, Georgia, Arizona, and Florida.

Gore was ahead before recount.
