Agree. If it was real they would have kept going. Name of the game nowadays is to exhaust expensive AA countermeasures until you get through. They obviously have more than just a few hundred drones and missiles.

I think Biden’s admin response afterwards is pretty decent and measured actually. Reading between the lines we see they don’t want US involved in the war and are mainly looking to only defend. Right choice going into an election, especially when he absolutely needs the far left anti-Israel wing to show up to have a chance.

Pretty crazy development, it seems to be a mostly proportional response to the embassy attack but it's still a pretty drastic escalation IMO.

Gonna wait for more info to have a real opinion but it almost seems like the goal is to hammer the wedge that's growing between the US and Israel

Israel being attacked by Iran so openly will demand a response from Israel, and for it to have the effect they want it will need to be huge IMO. Couple that with the US really not wanting a regional war (again IMO) and there is potential for some real friction which might be more risky to Israel than anything else Iran could do. Kind of a 4D chess angle but it isn't a secret that things are tense between Biden and Bibi, can't imagine this will help.

Biden and his senior advisers are highly concerned an Israeli response to Iran's attack on Israel would lead to a regional war with catastrophic consequences, U.S. officials said.

Quote
"More than 200 drones, cruise missiles and ballistic missiles were fired from Iran," IDF spokesperson Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari said. Most of the threats were intercepted outside of Israeli airspace, he said.

Quote
Biden told Netanyahu the joint defensive efforts by Israel, the U.S. and other countries in the region led to the failure of the Iranian attack, according to the White House official.

"You got a win. Take the win," Biden told Netanyahu, according to the official.
The official said that when Biden told Netanyahu that the U.S. will not participate in any offensive operations against Iran and will not support such operations, Netanyahu said he understood.

Quote
"I told Prime Minister Netanyahu that Israel demonstrated a remarkable capacity to defend against and defeat even unprecedented attacks — sending a clear message to its foes that they cannot effectively threaten the security of Israel," Biden said.

Credit where credit is due: Biden is right on the money here. Israel got the W, now it is time for Israel to take up Iran's (indirect, shamefaced) proposal to deescalate.

Lol did you have too much sugar or something?

Pretty sure I posted just yesterday I didn't think Iran would do anything and before that I posted saying if they did anything it would be stupid so....please explain the first part of your comment within that context

In regards to the second part, you do realize me calling it a 4D chess angle was me belittling my own theory? Like...I'm not sure what you think the dunk is there, did you fully read what you replied to or...?

Seems especially weak after the minister of foreign affairs posted this https://twitter.com/Israel_katz/status/1777937629096337817?t=0sPhE4bYDVB7tlu0mqkWbw&s=19

IDF spokesperson said a few strikes landed in Nevatim Airbase but only did minor damage. Seen things saying Ramon Airbase was hit too but no official statements about it, know if that's true?

The absolute last thing the Biden admin wants is an escalation of the current conflict into a full-blown war engulfing the entire Middle East. Guaranteed Trump trifecta incoming in that scenario.

The Religion of Peace showing the world its peaceful ways once again.

Terrorist attack reported in Sydney Australia, first indications are a muslim man armed with a machete / knife killed multiple people in a mass stabbing targeting an Israeli store or restaurant, at least 4 victims dead including a baby and the attacker shot dead by police. The mall is a jewish hotspot and there's an israeli restaurant visible in the videos and the guy looks like the isis stereotype so I'd say pretty good guess

At a press conference on 14 April, the day after the stabbings, NSW Police revealed the perpetrator to be 40-year-old Joel Cauchi from Toowoomba, Queensland. They stated that Cauchi, shortly after coming to Sydney, “took possession of a storage facility”, and that police had gone through that “very small” storage facility, later confirmed to be in Waterloo, an inner city suburb of Sydney. NSW Police Assistant Commissioner Anthony Cooke also said that they had not received evidence that the attack was “driven by any particular motivation – ideology or otherwise”, adding that Cauchi suffered from mental health issues

No UAV penetrated Israel, 3 ballistic missiles landed 1 in UM Al fahem (muslim arab city), 1 muslim arab boy died from debris
And 2 missiles landed at nevatim did minor damage.
Like I said underwhelming attack not worth to retaliate.
