I thought they are done ? As in that's it for today ? Last I heard. I don't think the missiles are going to hit target with the Iron Dome defense.

I see no reason to help Israel, they put themselves in this shit. Ukraine's agression is the only problem.

Israel claims that the building they attacked wasn’t apart of the embassy and one or more military Iranian officials in that building were collaborating with Hamas.
Don’t know much about the confirmation of that but it’s safe to assume that Iran is going to say that’s false 🤷

There apparently was 2 waves of missle launches. The second one was around 70 of different types that was late being reported on. Afaik when Iran said it was done they had already fired all their missles/drones but western media was late reporting on it.

They are both horrible and since decades. As simple as that.

the only question left in my mind is if the recent increase in US military presence in the area is to protect its own military assets or to protect Israel/launch counter attacks. we will see very soon

Sounds like this attack is mostly for show, so that Iran can "save face", rather than the overture of a genuine war.
Depending on the scope and damage this attack will do, I believe Israel would be wise to not escalate things further and only retaliate in similarly symbolic fashion.

Agree. If it was real they would have kept going. Name of the game nowadays is to exhaust expensive AA countermeasures until you get through. They obviously have more than just a few hundred drones and missiles.

I think Biden’s admin response afterwards is pretty decent and measured actually. Reading between the lines we see they don’t want US involved in the war and are mainly looking to only defend. Right choice going into an election, especially when he absolutely needs the far left anti-Israel wing to show up to have a chance.
