Race, the form of which often argued as being biological, is not a scientific reality. The only existence of race with any credence is its utilization as purely a social phenomenon.

Maybe he is asking if you meant to use credibility and not credence. I think they mean the same thing though so idk. I think credence and credibility might be used differently grammatically, though.
