industry standards =/= new tech companies. Sorry for that.
We must have differing definitions of industry standards, kind of why I put it in quotes. I'd imagine Twitter runs version control, automates tests, has continuous delivery mechanisms. etc (things even new tech companies have) Beyond that, their end product is trivial when compared to other coded tech. The hardest backfill is their talented analyst.
