So after everything's said and done

Mueller set out a legal foundation that wouldn't have allowed him to indict the president
Trump was receptive to working with Russia but his administration was too incompetent to actually follow through
Trump definitely attempted to obstruct justice even outside of his appointments/dismissals

just for reference. he's been at the DoJ longer than he or others anticipated.

he was already set to resign after mueller concluded the report. this has been referenced a few times within the last 2 years by rosenstein personally

He's awfully charitable to the guy who tweeted a picture of him in a jail cell.

Comey called Rosenstein a "survivor", and it wasn't a compliment.
