if sunlight only penetrates 200 feet in water and water is 9x as dense as air - it means the sun is close, not 93 million miles away.

and that density is described as 9x more dense than air, if the sunlight had already travelled 93 million miles - a mere 200 feet of water would not be enough to stop it

Read a book , light travels at the speed of light in a vacuum, the dense water greatly slows down this wave and stops it after that distance due to it bein 93 million miles away, your right if the sun were closer ya sure , the light would reach deeper into the ocean. But it doesn't because it's 93 million miles away dumbass
