When you run a software company employees are one of the greatest costs, that and licensing. If you run it well, your programmers adhere to 'industry standards' so backfilling is not as impactful. Honestly, the social media domain space should not be very expensive to rehire/retrain when compared to other domains software is rampant in. Seems most that left were low value if the flagship is still sailing along.

If Musk did this type of shake up at a MIC firm, the retrain would be vastly more impactful and costly. This social media though, child's play for any entry level engineer.

If you don't earn more than you spend of said advertising revenue you can only take on debt for so long and dilute shareholders via new offerings so much before all you have left is b lenders and a diluted share price. Aka snapchat.

Banking on being acquired is modern tech business plans at this point hoping that some big fish like Microsoft or someone stupid enough acquires them thinking they can turn the ship.

It's tertiary sector but not really a pure software company, there's infrastructures, heavy administrative & marketing services.

We are not in industry. I worked in both sectors btw there's a major difference. You are recruiting talented people: things have to go faster than industry and if a little bug occurs from time to time it's not the biggest problem.
You obviously have no idea of what you are talking about. Did you work on big projects in such companies ?
