the bottom line is that the IDF is no longer gonna get "narrowed" , it's actually returning to it's earlier form decades ago, meaning Israel's next years\decade ahead is gonna invest a LOT in the IDF
both in making it bigger and more efficient.

the world is not participating the war. we are fighting in our home, so whatever the world thinks that will happen - the goal of cleansing Hamas is a matter of time and it hasn't changed.

on the grudge thing - it's an illusion. Gaza civilian's aren't gonna accept anything related to a Jewish state.. they would die before they will make peace, it's not something we would prefer as Israeli's but it's their mentality.
they don't want anything aside the entire land.

The entire argument is that the way which they constantly choose to act in is wrong and will continue to bring them the exact opposite result.
So yea, that’s on them. They should gather all their leaders into one room and come out with a strategy which is good enough for two state solution. They’ll need to climb down from their demand to “free Palestine”.
