The political establishment and main stream media have shoved this candidate down our throats.

She makes as few public appearances as possible, and even when does make them, they are almost always pre-approved and scripted, and the things she does say have all been rigorously analyzed by political focus groups.

The FBI's various press releases and convenient holiday document dumps have proven that she is either incompetent, extremely reckless, or a compulsive liar. Or all of the above.

The best thing she really seems to have going for her campaign at this point is that she is not as bad as Donald Trump, which seems to be good enough for most folks, myself included. Fuck this election.

Hillary Clinton did indeed get the most votes, but she has been the nominee-in-waiting since Obama's reelection in 2012.

She had a record number of endorsements from Congress and governors before the DNC primaries even began, and the national media began her coronation as early as 2014.

Worse, WikiLeaks emails revealed the DNC had been propping up HRC long before the primaries began, manipulating media outlets in favor of HRC and also internally undermining other DNC candidates.

At the end of the day, more Democratic primary voters picked her than anyone else, but to deny the overwhelming influence of the political establishment and main stream media in the process would be glossing over important details.
