He did clean up Bush's mess pretty well, especially considering the huge mess he inherited.
Must be hard following one of the worse presidents in history. He must have felt like FDR taking office, with the economy sucking and hemorrhaging jobs, surrounded by wars, a strong isolationist sentiment at home, and an opposition that just foams at the mouth and acts without rhyme or reason, like some sort of mangy, sickly dog.
Aside from the "mess" being Congressional Democrats', not Bush's, the Obama "recovery sucks sweaty ballsack and everyone knows it.
