This speech doesn't move the dial, won't change the calculus, won't be remembered at all. No outstanding moments like obama was capable of, but Joe's hurdle is simply whether he can get through a speech without a meltdown or major gaffe, and he cleared it. Looked hairy when he started engaging on Laken Riley but he pulled back, so I'd say this is a push, Biden had serious risks going into it and avoided them.

Seeing National Guard deployed as NYC subway security detail on news after police surges haven't been enough. That's the kind of scene out of places in Eastern Europe. Cmon Man
