He's not mentally competent, that's why he (or his handlers) turned down a cognitive test as part of his annual physical recently. He even turned down the softball Super bowl interview. It's sad, and our democracy looks even sadder that this charade is on public display for years now, with people pretending, when he's in obvious cognitive decline and is absolutely not fit to re-run.

I've never heard of a president taking a cognitive test until Trump took one because people(rightly) thought he was nuts. I don't know that a cognitive test is something other presidents have regularly done.

Biden's team is keeping him sheltered because his age combined with his gaffes(which he's always done) is risky. If you actually watch him speak, not in 15 second clips but in whole speeches, he's fine. Obviously elderly, slowing down, but mentally competent. Whereas Trump has the same sort of elderly slip ups(confusing Nikki Haley and Nancy Pelosi) while being batshit crazy.

For example, Trump seems to legitimately believe the 2020 election was stolen from him. Trump routinely says ridiculous things like that he won deep blue Democratic states. He thought Ukraine interfered in the 2016 election, not Russia. These are ideas that show Trump is nuts... he's seriously detached from reality.

What's a similar example of how Biden is detached from reality? Not a momentary slip up, but genuine beliefs that are obviously absurd and evidence that he's nuts?
