Do you not remember the story of Moses coming down from the mountain with the first set of tablets and finding the people worshipping the golden calf? I find it hard to believe anybody who calls themselves Christian wouldn't be aware of this. Trump has become a false idol, to the point where his supporters are literally making him into a golden statue. The parallels are so obvious you would have to be willfully ignorant to not see it.

for myself i am indifferent to the statue. but what i do see is some folks taking alot more interest in it than i think is appropriate. it was probably made to trigger lefties. it has become a common practice for people on the right to troll lefties.

Who's worshipping the statue? Clearly you are. It's not about the statue specifically, it's about the symbolism. You spend most of your time engrossed in Trump. God's looking at you and seeing who you really value.
