Agreed. But to be fair, I'm pretty sure that they already implemented safeguards behind the scenes to make sure that the president can't order a nuclear strike on a whim back when Trump took office, and left these protocols in place when Biden took over. Similarly, I'm pretty sure that twitter had staff on standby checking every Trump tweet before publishing it, so that if Trump is in a bad mood because his dump got stuck halfway through at 3am, he can't declare war on XYZ with a single tweet.
What a sad state of affairs.
