Elon Musk says he is resigning from Twitter after he polled users on whether he should resign or not.

Elon is constantly full of BS so we will see what happens.

resigning as CEO, staying on to oversee specific depts.

why anyone thinks this will make much difference is beyond me. think of it logistically.

Elon Musk, as the head of the code dept, make a call. CEO doesnt like it. CEO says "hey dont do that". Elon is owner. owner overrides CEO.

and only an idiot would want the job of CEO in this company right now. its like volunteering to capt a ship that's sinking.

A figureheads job isn't to work. The "hey don't do that." will never happen.

i wouldn't even be surprised if stepping down as CEO was a condition for securing funding from his bone saw wielding, slave owning new investors from the middle east...

Any company can have too many employees while employees are not wthat costs the most.
You can also remove alot of employees while knowing you will have alot of issues later (IT, Moderation, etc).
Worse; it will be necessary to train new ones which is very expensive.

Doing shortcut calculations on 1 night is a joke & busllshit.
