When you say biased, what exactly do you mean?
There are some areas where "bias" is understandable and reasonable. People at CNN and NYT are Americans, so they have a bias in favor of America. That bias extends towards favoring the West over our authoritarian adversaries like Russia and China. It's a bias in favor of democratic, sovereign countries like Ukraine and Taiwan over their authoritarian neighbors who threaten their existence.
There's nothing enlightened about having some detached attitude toward Russia starting an unprovoked war with it's neighbor.
