so to summarize: german business employs slave labor in a slaughter house, german govt criticizes qatari immigrant slave labor.

your issue in this is you're not able to identify subgroups logically. you just blob together "germans" without separating govt, corporations, private citizens, etc.

the closest you get in this case is govt inaction pre-outbreak, but then they shut it down and addressed the issue.

I posted one example. Migrant workers are exploited on a large scale from truck drivers to slaughterhouse workers.

you're having quite the hard time with this my man. if the govt was personally exploiting slave labor, then yes that's hypocritical. even if they failed to police immigrant exploitation they knew existed, 100% hypocrtiical. and THOSE factors likely do exist, and they're hypocrites for that. buying gas doesnt make them hypocrites. especially given the lack of available other alternatives that they have and the fact that they're only going to qatar because russia shit the bed. im not a gas expert, but it sounds like there's not a lot of other options for them from morally acceptable nations.
