Does anyone know why Romney vote for her confirmation now while he voted against her just one year ago during her confirmation to the DC circuit?

A current article doesn't give any meaningful explanation for his change of heart:

Collins and Murkowski voted last year to confirm Jackson to the powerful D.C. Circuit Court. Romney, who voted no last year, said his concerns were alleviated after a long meeting with Jackson.

I highly doubt that Jackson's judicial philosophy or her personality changed meaningfully over the span of this one year, so what is the true reason? Was this yet another "Romney sucks up to the DC establishment"-moment?

I just hope that, in time, she will understand what she is, a woman.

Ketanji Brown Jackson is the nominee for the Supreme Court.
She may be replacing Stephen Gerald Breyer.

The changing of Supreme Court Justices is a major thing in The United States.
Do you think she will do her duty to uphold the constitution and vote based on the merits of law or interject her personal and political beliefs?

Isn't that the muscular dude with that weird hair who doesn't know what a 'woman' is?

LOL, you need more copium please. You guys are so mad she didn't take the obvious bait. Lol. I've been at the hospital all night taking care of a loved one and am now doing to a different hospital to work and take care of other peoples' loved ones, and this is the boost of copium I needed to at least get through my morning cases.

It is funny that incels keep asking what a woman is; one day you too might know a woman.

A real philosophical answer is here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Second_Sex

But that answer is from a woman so you're not interested; you only want a females opinion when you want to attack it and call it stupid, like in this instance, where she didn't take the bait.

Nowadays, woman is a dated politically incorrect term. We now refer to them as "birthing people", "chest feeders", or "bleeders".

According to the woke libs.

And the incels are raging with their angry little inches :)

If you think it's just the "incels" who are pissed about CRT, affirmative action, and gender identity, you are in for a rude awakening this midterm.

Or you could save yourself the shock and check the polls.

because he is an opportunist first and foremost

that said Jackson didnt really have anything that set off the alarms from a judicial philosophy standpoint so her being confirmed is good. we can be assured anytime a (D) nominee is up for the SC the focus will be on jurisprudence and not some tabloid rumors turning into a slimey media spectacle when a (R) nominee is up

No I did not. The court in its history is 2/151 black. 149 white justices disagree.

All white all the time is discrimination buddy lol.

I think what he is trying to say is that discriminating on peoples race in an attempt to make up for historic imbalances is still discriminating on race

Noone is advocating for all white all the time
