Explain to us how the Ukrainians are going to get back Eastern Ukraine and Crimea.

You should start at Crimea, the Ukrainians had 8 years to take it back no?

You didnt understand, Putin cannot fully mobilize his nation into Ukraine war, he cannot fully draft man because its not defensive war and his people wont accept big draft in all population for offensive war.

Sanctions are partially working because for example Brent to Ural price difference is like 33usd now, it halves Russian profits.
As I told you China wont switch to "Russia oil only", even if Russia gives them discount, because they arent stupid and wont make themselves single supplier dependant.
For now prices are high, but we all know that sometimes prices are low, sometimes they are high.
Also Russia cannot import western technology, all they can do instead is to became China colony, just like Belarus became Russia's colony.
Russia made all the data about their economy secret, so its definitely going wrong.

You're the one who doesn't understand. The sanctions are in effect for over 4 months. Remember that you were claiming the sanctions were working months ago? https://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=92094408&f=119&o=6110

1) Do you even know what was this non-starter offer? This was an offer not only about Ukraine, but also to leave eastern NATO countries defenseless. Its literały like making an offer to disassemble Russia.
2) Ukraine is not Russia, Russia cannot forbid them joining western World. Ukraine didnt want to join NATO in the past to keep the good relations with Russia. Now we see where it led them.
3) Russia has a lot of nukes. Nobody sane attacks a country that has that many nukes. So all these talks that Ukraine presence scaries Russia is totally made up.
4) you ask "how do you want to convince Putin to stop war". When dealing with bad people, like murderer, rapist, Hitler etc, you dont convince them to stop by talking nicely to them.
Talking nicely does not always solve the problem.
Russia is basically not much more than a gas station, when you stop giving them money, when you impose sanctions, they have trouble and cannot afford war.
Right now Russia has lost about 40% of their assault army, and have only little reserves to partially rebuild. they are not that far from giving up. Thats how you deal with bad people.
5) if Ukraine were a part of NATO, Russia wouldnt attack them. Russia attacks when they smell weakness. The way to deal with Russia is to stay strong and united, not to surrender to Russia threats.

That was April 21st, lol. Explain to us why this "gas station" is still running, business as usual and they're making more money selling less. Reality is that the whole world is now paying the price because of rising commodity and energy prices. But hey those sanctions are really working right?

You also stated they lost 40% of their combat strength on April 21st. So where they at right now according to your logic, 80% losses?

You seem to live in some kind of fantasy world.

They're going to stay on a total war footing with Western backing. They will grow their army by hundreds of thousands, and they will grind the orcs out slowly.

Obviously they were afraid to go to full fledged war over Crimea in 2014, but since Russia made it into one and they're not doing so bad, they can opt to do so.

Interesting. How are the orcs going to react if this would become a reality. Will they still heavily rely on DPR/LPR recruits and Chechens/mercenaries or would the orcs step it up?

So far you've been wrong about everything you commented on:
Russia = gas station, sanctions will kill it in no time.
Russian army pretty much defeated (back in March?).
There will be no food shortages cuz we can just grow more wheat/corn/etc to feed the world.

How are they going to react? They're going to die.

Quote me saying sanctions will work quickly.
They are pretty much defeated.
I said the US can grow more wheat to make up for the Ukrainian shortfall. I didn't say it would be overnight. The current shortage is in winter wheat, which would have to be planted last fall. Grain prices only skyrocketed for winter wheat.

Wrong, they're going to step it up.

They just announced that they will be taking more Ukrainian territory due to the threat of Western supplied long-range weapons. Sending weapons to Ukraine working as intended I guess hmm?

Now the main point, if Ukraine would indeed push the Russians out which it can only do with massive Western support, what is stopping Putin declaring Russia is under threat? Russia has massive mobilization potential:

Russian mobilization potential around 12 minutes mark. Russia defeated? They haven't started yet.

DPR/LPR raw recruits up to 65 y/o (!!!) thrown into battle in Ukraine starting around the 32 minute mark. They're not Russians but Ukrainians fighting Ukrainians now think about that.

1) the sanctions are only partially in effect. West is still buying some Russian oil and gas and coal.
Sanctions grow in time, as Europe finds different supplies.
China wont replace west, because they dont want to make themselves dependant on Russia, they want to have many suppliers.
We will see how well Russia deals with sanctions over time, imo they wont be good with it and will have more and more problems over time.

Also if not the sanctions, then the Ukraine would be in worst position. And that's what we need to compare against.

2) As I said before, Russia lost like 40% until april, but since then they reduced the battles, they dont fight large scale invasion any longer. Now the frontline is mostly steady.
Now Russians are still at 40% losses, as they try to partially rebuild their military.
They get the criminals out of the prisons, they also recruit new soldiers, they increased the age for new recruits, they try to repair and bring back some old tanks into service etc.

I dont know who will win the war, both sides are bleeding heavily.

Unfortunately, that's what Ukrainians do. Google for Tornado and Kraken batallions.

Yeah, the Ukrainians also need new recruits.
It isn't easy war for either side, I dont know who will win.
Im keeping my fingers crossed for Ukraine, but I know Russia is a bigger country, making lot of money from their resources, so not a piece of cake to defend against.
