That would lower the quality of the meat. Meat should never be frozen and I'm willing to pay 4x the cost to not eat like a fucking peasant.

I mean that's cute, but you're in the top 5% of the country's earners. Unrealistic living. A society has to structure itself to allow all social strata to live sustainably.

Theres literally zero fucking difference to what youre adding to bread, cheese, tomoatoes and slathering sause all over but if you want to pay 14 bucks for a couple sandwitches then you do you buddy.

Perhaps to someone with an unrefined palate. My policy is that a person has a limited amount of meals that they can eat in their life. Eating food that doesn't meet a certain level of quality is a depressing thought. I feel awful for people who spend less than $30k per year on food because they are truly getting a subpar tasting experience. They really don't know what they are missing.

Also, according to Doordash, a SINGLE sandwich that I eat costs about 17 bucks.

Lol k

Moron. Stop trying to jab at me for no reason, there's no argument here at all. You're worse than a scorned ex gf.

I'm not defending Schiff. I said he speaks from fundamental correctness. There is no sound money. What he doesn't take into account is the political reality.

The thing is it's easy to be "fundamentally correct" because you get to define your premesis. Nobody gives a shit if you're correct within your own system of thought.

The hard part is being correct *in reality*. Somebody who cries wolf for 10 years about hyperinflation who is then only proven right by a once a century pandemic is not a smart person or correct in any sense that we should look on favorably.

I went to bring my wife breakfast this morning at her work. Sausage Mcmuffin with Egg is now 2 for $4.50. Fifty cent increase from last week.

Eggs are $1.99/dozen in my area in supermarket.

Gotta love the inflation.

Economists don't care about food prices, they're "too volatile" to include in baseline inflation. Like, people can just stop eating for a while if it gets too expensive, right?

Been going on for years. The cereal boxes are smaller, the burgers are smaller, the fries are thinner.

well people should just steal items from various stores and say its for bread and water. our politicians will defend these folks and say “thats why ‘these people’ (ones who run the stores) have insurance”
