Not really. I think the question you need to ask yourself is: what rights does a fetus have and when do they obtain those rights?

Abortion should never be the answer, unless it’s an extremely rare case where having the baby will cause the mother to die. You don’t want to raise the baby, ok, give it up for adoption then

At earliest when they can be viable outside the body. This will change with technology.

I agree with this position but a majority of the country disagrees. I've suggested that we pay women the fair market value to keep unwanted pregnancies to discourage abortion but no one seems to want to do that.

At no other point in the entity's existence does it cease to be the mere genetic offal of its parents and becomes a new entity. That means it's a distinct human being, and should be endowed with human rights, which include the right to their life.
