Thats a pretty low IQ take. I've posted consistently for 15 years, usually while bored at work. My average ppd is less than 10 last time I checked.

My sister and her bf each work 4 days. Grandparents babysit at least 1 day a week. Leaves only ~2 days for an external babysitter/daycare.

We're planning to do the same. I might work 4x9 hours instead of 4x8, but we already decided we both want at least one day a week off for the kids, when we start having kids.

The age of the dad who's only there at sunday dinner to cut the meat is long gone. Nor would I expect my gf to sacrifice her entire career for parenthood.
