I think the last 4 years have numbed people to such an extent that they aren't capable of taking the right-wing extremist threat seriously. Yet, they are still hyper sensitive over the threats from the left. If you look at the reaction over Trump's twitter ban vs. the insurrectionists at the Capitol, it's clear which issue upsets and offends the right more.

The safe bet is the right-wing in this country continues the downward spiral they are on... and institutions need to step up and work to combat that. If Big Tech goes too far, reasonable people on both sides can call that out. Far too many citizens on the right have poisoned minds.. and these people are making it impossible to have a healthy democracy.

The Capitol rioters are already being arrested and charged.

You advocate broken institutions deal with the issue by cracking down on people with views you see as dangerous. Pretty much guaranteeing further escalation.

"Its ok to censor the president because hes dangerous" is just the largest step on the spiral downward we've been on and you're embracing it with open arms.

“its okay to put “markers” on the people in xyz group so we can easily identify them, because they are dangerous”
