There was no coup. A coup requires organization and a goal of takeover. Neither of those were in evidence.

We can both acknowledge that there were idiots who utilized violence and should be arrested. We can also agree that there were people who exercised property destruction and should be arrested. The count of people is in the dozens or maybe 100.

The last DC BLM riot involved the burning of hundreds of buildings, the injuries and deaths of hundreds of non-rioters and billions in property damage. The result of the BLM DC riots was, "We'll paint BLM on the streets".

You call this a coup. It's not. It's a select random few who did something stupid and should pay the price. The other 499,000 were there to protest lacking a voice in the election and having their business shut down.
