The point that I'm making is that what happens/ed after the election is not particularly relevant to people making decisions for who to vote for every 4 years. Between the two messages, the Republicans have a much more appealing, hopeful message with coal miners than the Democrats do.
So long as you attribute stupidity to Trump supporters and, even if facetiously, believe that they should be 'rounded up', you'll miss the reasons why 70+ million people voted for him. If you don't want Trump to win, then it would behoove any political movement to understand what motivations, needs, and reasons people have that resulted in them supporting Trump.

I also understand that the majority that voted for Trump did it while working with false information. I asked my Trump supporting uncle why he voted for Trump yesterday and he gave me the usual bit which all is easily debunked. These people are voting for Trump because he thinks he is their savior against an enemy they created in their own imagination. Instead what they did was invite the wolf into the hen house because they've been that all the other dogs are bad. This one isn't.
