If more people were like this we would be far better off.

My family is conservative so until a few years ago I mirrored their beliefs. With time I've shifted very much in the middle. Honestly sometimes I see myself shifting more Liberal.

I'm really struggling with today's politics. I voted for Trump last election. Not really sure what to do this one. Here and there I see racist remarks from Trump supporters. I'm half Mexican and wonder why would I vote with a group of people that have that view of my kind?

Don't get me wrong. I know the libs couldn't care less either. At this point it's truly the lesser of two evils. Gonna be a fun election.

I wish we had "the libs" running for office. Biden is pretty centrist in American politics. There is no real political representation for "the libs" in this country.

Overall my opinion on the government in general went like this

This system is decent, but the people running it are bad and most people need to just get off their butts -->

The system has some faults but is overall good, and a lot of corrupt people exploit the weaknesses, but average people can easily succeed with effort -->

The system sucks because it has been rigged for the benefit of the corrupt, and there's actually a lot of other systems that would be obviously better, and how we measure success in the system is garbage
