Encores/Enclaves are great if you're into luxury cars. My wife loves hers.

Because they're popular with old people, who tend to have the money to burn?

Literally the first time i heard that Buick is a luxury car, had to google it out of disbelief. If i were to go for luxury it wouldn't even be on my radar because there's so many way better options out there.

I own a Honda & Toyota and would buy one of those or a Subaru 10/10 times even though they aren't lux vs buying a Buick.

That they are, for how long though? Maybe Skinned is the next generation they are targeting?

I enjoyed my AWD Outback. Honda is meh, their cars look like Michael Bay transformers now, i keep waiting for them to turn into robots and run down the highway. Plus they feel cheap inside....no leather seats, no adjustable lumbar support on the seat, fucking peasant car.

I like Toyota but prefer German cars myself.

Buicks are great if you like driving on a cloud with all power adjustable everything and all leather seats, the knobs last over 10 years unlike Volkswagon lol. For her it was between the Buick and the Yukon Denali. I like sedans.

Yeah we got a great value. Our cars are in great shape and almost paid off.

I love my Honda. Most foreigners are huge fans of Honda/Toyota/Subaru tbh. They are efficient & durable, pretty much what us utilitarian boot strap foreigners most desire.

Yukon is a bad ass looking car. I really like the Tahoe's too but the utilitarian inside me will never let me buy a car that gets 15 mpg. Like if i was making 100k i still think i'd go for a Subaru.

Subaru outback was my favorite car probably. I really like my volkswagon though. Gas pedal so responsive. Can really jump from 60 to 80 90 mph very fast.

we have a forrester and it's been a great car minus a few annoying recalls we had fixed on their dime and the fact that it uses a slight bit of oil. nothing crazy but i'd say a quart every 3-4 months.

VWs last forever.

On the other hand, I used to hypermile a 92 Civic and regularly got over 100 MPG. I’ll take that over luxury any day.
