- diversity quotas
- third wave feminism and its hostility toward men and masculinity
- intersectionality and critical theory
- abandoning the idea of the American melting pot in favor of multiculturalism
- large-scale amnesty plus a pathway to citizenship for almost every illegal immigrant
- political correctness in its present-day extremes
- safe spaces
- cancel culture
- weakening the concept of self-responsibility beyond what's justified, normalizing belief in and demands for a "nanny state"
- perverted the originally good concept of "equal opportunity" to effectively mean "forced equality of outcomes"

There is of course some overlap between these points, and not all of those items are equally established yet, but they have all become mainstream in corporate America, in American universities, colleges and schools, in the media and in large swaths of the political sphere.

Most of those aren't main stream, and I'd bet you don't actually understand what the rest even mean, and beyond that some are just immature name calling that demonstrate you aren't approach this topic honestly, and I'll bold the two I mean specifically.

you're right, they aren't "mainstream democrat policies", many leftists just cowardly stand by while they happen and then call centrists/right leaning people who disagree racists, misogynists, etc along with hte mob who traffics in these ideas.

left, right, or center inter-sectional policies are largely just an out for cowardice. people don't "support" ideas, they just allow others who do an unchallenged voice because of their votes.

so what's really the difference between a purple haired polyxer spouting off on the need for polygendered bathrooms in every public restaurant and the average white collar suburban democrat who listens, and not only says nothing due to fears of transphobia but also piles on the other side with labeling of transphobia that they too thought but were too afraid to ask? the difference is the purple haired weirdo is a far more brave person.

Nothing is weak and shameful in listening. That's a white fucking male perspective.

LOL, "listening".

so what you're saying is that anyone who is on the right and "listens" to KKK members, neo nazis, etc and sits there like a cuck without challenging their weakly formed ideas isn't weak or shameful, either.

no no, of course not, because your side is right generally and they're the bad ones. so it's totally different, right? lol. no, it isn't.

we live in a society where if someone questions legal immigration practices they're a scarlet letter racist, and the same people who think this sit idly by while women declare that both sexes are equal in all aspects but also testosterone is to blame for society's woes.

both sides cow-towing to extremists, especially in the internet age, is a large part of political division we have. you, a moderate leftist, and someone like black, a moderate rightist, can't have 1:1 conversations often. because you're both forced to own your side, your tribe, their narratives, etc.

Yes Cam, I'm only basing it on the length of your posts.

its funny how much u guys rag on right wingers for their inter-sectional connections, but when confronted with yours you deflect then call the person dishonest lol.

i guess i'd rather be "triggered" than trying to run from the idea that equality of outcomes is a goal of the left. just make sure to stretch before doing those kind of mental gymnastics or you might pull something.

He’s right though. People are so adverse to reaching compromise and learning from each other, they’ll defend their own wing’s tropes so strongly that they end up radicalising themselves.
