A burning cross is on a black man's front lawn.

Goomshill: It's just a camp fire, how is this offensive?

He used reversed triangle, plain red, to attack protesters which a part is well know to be largely progressive, at left, even 'antifa' ...
Even crossing it with fake news by calling all them rioters etc...

You will not be able to hide this gigagaffe with blurred whataboutism.

Yup triangles definitely on the same plane as burning crosses.
Do you think the ADL will go and retroactively add triangles to its hate symbol list, in order to condemn Trump's campaign for using a symbol even they don't recognize?

The whole point of dog-whistles is that they retain plausible deniability when they are called out. That's why they're dogwhistles.

They aren't on the same plane. I was just making fun of you for comparing an upside down triangle that clearly merits a review by campaign officials to a corporate logo. It's just laughable.

I wonder what Shillhead had to say when Laura Ingraham gave a Nazi salute to a crowd of extremists that were cheering her on.

Probably made him all warm and fuzzy inside. Maybe even tingley-toes.

Remember in 2012 when the lobotomized liberals were trying to tell us "news isn't biased, you're just wrong"?

It's extraordinarily unlikely that the Trump campaign is trying to cater to Nazis, an incredibly marginal section of the population voting in states he's absolutely sure to win, by sending secret messages (triangles!) that hardly anyone, including the "target" audience, is likely to get.

The issue at play is that the content of the ad offended the ADL, who in turn riffed through it for some obscure "Nazi" reference they could jump on in order to convince Facebook to censor the ad. Facebook was all too willing to play along, setting the stage for "gotcha" news articles reading some version of "Facebook removes Trump campaign ad featuring NAZI symbol".

But of course it's a dog-whistle, not because we can prove it, but because we can't! Plausible deniability is actually proof that it's as nefarious as it seems!

More censorship guys! Big tech is out of control.

https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1273770669214490626

Twitter put a manipulated media tag on a video that is manipulated. I guess there's not enough examples of fake news on CNN, so people have to manufacture it themselves.

When will it all stop?

Do you honestly believe that the Trump campaign was actively trying to secretly signal to and cater to Nazis?
