As for Mao, you'll get no argument whatsoever from me when it comes to "left wing" ideology gone too far into the stupid realm of Communism. It doesn't work, and someone with a time machine should have used it to kill Mao.

I promise you no true Left-of-Center minded person would ever claim Mao, his actions, or his policies.

In conclusion, two of the three examples you mentioned were not left wing, but examples of right wing taken too far.

the context of the convo was the damage (specifically lives lost) attributable to non-religious movements because “duhcrossbones” said ‘religious right is responsible for more deaths than any ideology’ and ‘religion kills more than anything’. i listed 3 atheist-led movements in response to his still baseless claim. convo was not about lefty vs righty.

not sure what your rage essay defending stalin and adolf of the basis of political alignment was for though :wacko:
