I generally agree with this thought. They can't and won't though.
I find it fucking HILARIOUS that every single person on that stage (Aside from Comrade) will GLADLY accept all the money Bloomberg would shell out to them, but don't think he should be in the race.
Warren even directly said as much. The party of morals and feeeeeeeeeelingz has no issue tearing that man a (Rightfully deserved) new asshole while attacking his character, but then flipping the shill switch for "Party before individual" saying they'd accept his money - bloody knife still in hand.
or in this case, a tomahawk.
There's a reason Bernie is doing as good as he is in spite of his age/health and the general way he conducts himself which isn't the most friendly/charismatic that people like to see in candidates. It's because almost everyone else beside him is a republican-lite outside of the social policies which are pretty much the only thing that differentiates them from your average Republicans. I mean, the DNC is/was alright with Bloomberg even though he switched to the Republican party in 2001 and just re-registered as a democrat in 2018. All his answers and defenses and his ads is textbook moderate republican.
Dollar bills is the true north in the U.S of A. It's almost like almost everyone in Washington is beholden to the same special interest groups.
Sticking out in a field is almost always good unless you're absolutely mad crazy like Marianne Williamson. Admittedly she did make for some great memes.
Anyway anyone want to speculate with me on how Nevada primary is going to end up with what we've seen from the debate?
I expect Sanders to win it, I expect Bloomberg to fall hard and voters leaving him for Biden/Pete and some Warren just because she nearly scalped his ass on stage. With his stunned look you could've fooled me, brain matter was on pause. I think the momentum Amy Klobuchar got from New Hampshire is going to get sucked up primarily by Warren and then some going to Pete.
The only reason why I'm not confident on a power ranking of sort is because I really don't know where's Pete in all of this. I don't know which % of Bloomberg's are going to leave to go towards him. If Warren had not done as good as she did in the debate, I would've been confident in Pete having a good chance to take it but now I'm not sure.
Edit: I want to point out that I know Bloomberg is not on that ballout I just meant speculating on where his voters are going to re-align themselves for the primary.
