Literally nothing you have said refutes what I have said.
I never claimed there were never any closed door hearings before in history.
Previous closed door hearings taking place does not justify schiff's actions, nor does it mean republicans should be removed from office over this.

Yes it does. republicans rewrote the rules that Shiff is now following that they're now upset about.

it's not a simple case of "well just because someone else did it doesnt make it right for you to do it". it's a case of they changed the game, and are now crying about the rules they wrote.

1. I am not someone who blindly supports anything republicans have done.
2. The secret congress-barred nature of the hearings are substantially different, and are just one aspect of the situation that i mentioned.
3. Thats not how refutation works. hello?

This is what I said:

Quote
Adam Schiff is a bad actor running secret impeachment hearings after repeatedly lying about classified information to the American public, lying about his relationship with the whistleblower, and cherry picking information to leak, all to push his partisan agenda to unseat the president.

These secret hearings should not be supported. People standing up against these secret sham hearings should be commended, not removed from office.

Pretending this is somehow a super extreme-right or bad position to hold is illegitimate and inaccurate.

Refutation:

the action of proving a statement or theory to be wrong or false.

I see folks are still blaming the GOP (inaccurately), for what Schiff is doing.

The GOP, in the past, made the hearing not public (as in American public). But ALL of Congress was allowed to be there... unlike now.

You're saying a list of facts, some embellished linguistically for more effect, but they're generally factual. you're saying those facts because you think they're important. so both the facts and their importance in context can be refuted. if i say the sky is blue, grass is green, and ketchup is red. so Hillary killed Epstein, this proves nothing. even if i said the guards mysteriously left their posts, there were strange wills signed, and he was moved out of suicide watch, still doesnt prove anything.

and in any case if your own way to communicate is to get so semantic that you have to lean on "refute" as a crutch rather than having a conversation with someone then what's the point? is that even fun for you? to respond to like 12 people with just a basic list of facts without talking about if they're important in context?

you dont support the republicans, fine. and yet you dont seem to be harping on them for writing the rules. it's just an anti-schiff show from Cam. so i guess you dont support them, you just dont attack them. how convenient.

So you admit i had a list of facts and an opinion, but im wrong for accurately pointing out you falsely said it was refuted. Special word salad there.

Now we're back to the cliche of falsely claiming I don't criticize Republicans instead of falsely claiming what I said was wrong and refuted. Great contribution.

doesnt it get tiring to have every PARD exchange go the same way?

people rag you for your opinions and you just go back into "these are the facts, you guys can't change those" as if most people are trying to. people use nuance to try and add context to the fact, sometimes alter them to be more accurate, etc. you do the same thing when you write them, you fluff them up with language that takes them solely from facts and adds embellishment to make them near facts. then when people try to do the same you just go into "you can't refute my facts" mode and unplug. because you have unpopular opinions that you can't convince almost anyone of. so you stick to ABC facts with a sprinkle on top.

as to the false claims bit, give me a break. you've moved right, everyone knows it. you rag on the left hard now. it used to look like you were just anti-president when Obama was in office for 8 years. nope. you're just a right wing leaning libertarian. nothing wrong with that, just dont try to claim near center because literally no one's buying ocean views in Kansas. just accept your place cam. you're a republican now who votes libertarian if the ticket look good. but i'd bet my bank account you vote trump in 2020 with how shitty the lib ticket looks.

i think overall you just need to get more comfortable with presenting opinions, rather than trying to get people to argue facts with you. jay is gone, so if you're not going at Fender maybe just post memes? no one really wants to do the 5 page spam wars with you anymore. not because that's dead in pard, because your opinions are rigid and you maintain a false claim of centrism that doesnt ring nearly true. anyways, good luck getting people to argue with you.

Never seen someone use so many words to say so little.
Is there some reason you feel the need to spew this crap all over PaRD, every morning?

Facts are facts. Your "running at the keyboard" doesn't change that.

the house is stalling under the rules that they are not breaking to draw impeachment out because they know they wont have the votes to pass it but the political implications of doing the impeachment could help in the 2020 race. duh.
