well he's clearly out of line, and some kind of reaction was appropriate. Its not cause to banish him to the gulags amid the wailing and gnashing of teeth, but a temporary suspension would be a well earned start. Its not like his ban has been declared permanent.
If he can't play nice with the other children he should get a time-out.

if you apply extreme double standards and are being very snowflaky about it i'd agree that you could 'justify' suspending acosta's pass for a short while.
