I've seen a lot of Peterson interviews because he does the rounds on my podcast subs and I still don't really know where he stands or what his real contribution is most of the time I'd assume he is profiting off the -reasonable guy in politics- rubenesque thing that people do these days.

He's nowhere near the boogeyman some paint him

I'm a real skeptical panda when it comes to his and his daughter's diet talk. I suspect some honeydicking going on there

Kate Manne was criticizing his book, not necessarily criticizing Peterson himself... now maybe i'm wrong, but I don't think you would be successful with a defamation lawsuit in America just because you didn't like someone's book review. Regardless, it's bad optics if you're a pro free speech guy and you can't handle (probably fair) criticism of your work. It looks like this Kate Manne could probably back up what she was saying in court, and it wouldn't be a good look for Peterson. Just my thought...
