It's not meddling to openly state your opinion on an event. It's not even propaganda. It's stating an opinion. What's more the things you're talking about were, as far as we can tell currently, generally quite reasonable predictions. Our economy has taken a massive hit and we're not even out yet. All this is a far cry from 45,000 accounts created by hostile government employed agents mass posting fake news articles on social media in an attempt to sway a democratic decision to their advantage and our detriment.
Just more false equivalency and whataboutism.
It's ok bud. I don't expect you to have a reasonable point of view on anything tbh... You can stop trying now.
Framing it just as an opinion is downplaying the significance of a maintained campaign by many to sway the vote to stay. You downplaying the significance of this is just a perfect example of how subjective you truly are and don't really give a fuck of looking at this objectively, as i suspected. Propaganda from your side, it's only opinions, the other side propaganda. 45,000 tweets in a few days came from Russia which has a population of 140 million people. I'm sure some were propaganda bots but i bet a good portion of them were just Russians weighing on the matter but i'm sure to you they were all Russian bot trolls. Those 45,000 Russian tweets are out of 7.5 million total tweets on the referendum so yeah...
Here is a analytical breakdown on how twitter and Brexit are related.
http://blogs.lse.ac.uk/politicsandpolicy/how-leave-won-twitter/If i were to summarize these researchers findings it is that the leave campaign was much more energized compared to stay, which makes a lot of sense considering how frustrated people felt.
I mean i get it bro, like the REEE crowd in the US many of you across the pond are turning to various excuses as to why your side lost. I wish we could just move on from this. Russia in the grand scheme of things bears no impact on my life or yours.
