unfortunately it DOES "accomplish" something though. sure, these acts themselves don't have the impact, don't spread the "terror" to significantly change our way of life (after the vegas shooting for example, with over 600 people shot, not even bump stocks were banned), hardly anyone will seriously think twice about using a bike lane now or visiting a concert. the reaction by radicals and bigots on both sides, however, will undoubtedly further the divide - and that will inevitably lead to more people supporting simplistic and even counterproductive policies and "solutions". just look at the toxic rhetoric and narratives in this forum... ultimately this WILL bring us closer to some kind of "religious war", and that's their goal...

Maybe instead of you blaming Trump for all the problems, have a talk w/ the Muslims in your community ^^
