Yeah, let's make the man who wants to be a martyr one.. They should have sentenced him to life, locked him up in a super max in the middle of the Rocky Mountains and thrown away the key.. Lost to the system.

Who cares? I'm sure plenty of ISIS soldiers want to be made martyrs... and we should oblige them.

...he had no intention or desire to be a martyr...his last acts were desperate attempts to escape the consequences of his actions including running over his own brother in order to escape .

He should have been sentenced to a forced sex change and hormone therapy and sold into sex slavery in Africa.

lol

Just put his Mother in the cell next to him and let the prison train run through her.. is that hideous enough? we could torture him in very many ways, and again we are enabling him to make us become monsters.

is it worth the moral price we pay when we become killers just to get revenge? Haven't we raised ourselves far enough out of the swamps to stop demanding a pound of flesh?

The longer it takes, the more punishment imo*

The longer it takes the more the more money it will cost. We spend millions on individuals who remain on death row

It only took 4 years to execute McVeigh. I imagine that he'll be executed much quicker than the average death row inmate...especially since he effectively pleaded guilty.

Except that he didn't plead guilty, and we are already seeing indications of a long appeal process in its beginning form. In court they argued that it was his brother who was the main culprit, which will probably be argued again in the appeals process

I said "effectively" for a reason. The defense admitted that he carried out the bombings...
