are you using a strawman as well? I only support the vaccination of children there is truly no way to enforce it I suppose you could vaccinate through a school program, which is the way I was I still have the scar to prove it. I don't think withholding education from a child is the answer I'd rather see it maybe done in either a tax incentive or penalty that way the ones making the choice are the ones affected not the child.

But seriously if you are thinking of Not having your child vaccinated talk to a pediatrician find one who will take time to explain the real risks and benefits of the vaccine, don't rely on anything you read on the internet. Not when it comes to your kid.
We can fuss and fight, but talk to a medical professional, if you don't have one ask around, parents of older kids will have some good names

My friend kid is autism, first thing the medical professionals asked him is if they were vaccines recently. They will not officially list the risk but they know they are some.

Then those medical professionals need to have their credentials revoked. There is absolutely zero link between autism and vaccines, even bringing it up should be grounds for losing their medical license.

While the latter might be harsh, needless to say there is a lot to be desired with patient education if this actually was said/asked

Which I doubt it was

There are some risks and they are well known. Autism isn't one of them and the doctor who tried to say it is was exposed as a fraud.

Lotta statist motherfuckers up in this bitch. I see no real problems with mandating some vaccines for entry into public schools, but they've gone overboard. Chickenpox vaccine? For fuck's sake. I know people can get some irritating diseases later in life if they don't get chickenpox early in life, but is it such a major public health threat that they have to essentially force people to vaccinate kids for the fucking chickenpox? Please.

Then there's the ignorant motherfuckers saying vaccines are safe. For the most part, sure they are. But they also have some serious, life altering/ending effects too. The notion that you can strip people of the right to choose whether to accept or deny healthcare is sickening. Bunch of you statists should just /wrists and do the world a favor.

Or full-on 1984.

Deal with it by yourself. And so you know, the Amish get vaccinations too. Maybe not as much as you'd like to force onto them, but enough to be noteworthy.

The flu vaccine is actually more dangerous than doing nothing. People who get flu vaccines should just find the nearest lemming and chase it to wherever it leads.

While I normally agree with much of what you say, I have to disagree on this subject my conservative friend. Parents who choose not to vaccinate their children are putting the public at risk.

I probably would have never thought this way until I had a kid of my own. However, right now I have a 1 year old daughter who would have a very difficult time with some of these illnesses if she were to contract them from people who are not vaccinated. For instance, she cannot get the measles vaccine until she is at least 12 months old. Measles are deadly for children this young. Yet 6 kids under the age of 1 just contracted it in Chicago because they had contact with other kids that were not vaccinated. These babies don't have a chance since they are too young to be vaccinated.

It's absolutely ridiculous that these diseases are still running rampant in cities in modern times. I think it is extremely selfish of parents to not vaccinate their children and the benefits greatly outweigh the risks.

Do any of our residents anti-forced-vaccination members feel no sense of responsibility for the current measles outbreak?

Plenty of people gave their lives fighting in wars so America could have freedom. Giving back our freedom just so our kids can 'stay alive' as ignorant slaves to corporations would be undoing what many have sacrificed for.

Ignorant slaves rawr!
