I don't disbelieve that she talked with folks in the CIA/FBI at all, tbh, but I also think she probably overblew what happened.

I've heard her speak for a few hours, I don't recall anything about psychic abilities being spoke of, but yeah, about seeing 9/11 in advance she just meant given the information at hand they knew something was going to happen. It's possible the psychic part was made up by someone being extremely critical of her and taking it out of proportion, no one wants to end up like David Icke I haven't read her book yet, though, so I couldn't say for sure if she actually claims that in there.

As far as I've put together the story (and I'm listening to her right now) it's actually like this:

She's a big lefty activist before 9/11 who's huge on Muslim shit and wants to talk about the sorts of things that lead into 9/11. She ends up talking to a lot of the kind of people that the US Government can't officially say that they're meeting with all the time, so a few CIA/FBI agents got in touch with her and would drop by and shoot the shit and keep a general eye on her to make sure she wasn't doing anything stupid. Then after 9/11, someone (justified or not) accused her of spying for the Iraqis, and so she was essentially charged with treason. Two different judges said that she was mentally incompetent to stand trial, and a third judge actually tried to order her to take anti-psychotics so that she could stand trial, but eventually the US Government just said "Fuck it" and dropped the charges because they didn't want to deal with it anymore.
