RFK Jr: "I'm sorry to say that while Democracy may still be alive at the grassroots, it has become little more than a slogan for our political institutions, for our media, and for our government, and most sadly of all for me, the Democratic party."
Kind of amazing how RFK Jr. is backing up what I said.
Uh, yeah, democracy involves political institutions, media, and government. Why are you acting as if these are inherently institutions to oppose? And there's an implication that because democracy is a slogan for those things, it's also something to be opposed.
Does he ever talk about building up and strengthening our institutions? Or is the only point to tear everything down?
